Mad River Valley TV and Mad River Glen are collaborating on a brand new live program airing from Mad River Glen’s General Stark’s pub. The show, Mad River Glen Today, will serve as a platform to share the Mad River Glen community with the rest of the world. The program will illuminate what is going on at MRG in a fun way, leveraging a format that is a cross between a late night TV show, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood and Wayne's World.
The show will be hosted and produced by Eric Friedman, Mad River Glen’s Marketing Director, and feature Rob Pierce on keyboards and sidekick Doug Barnes. “Mad River Valley TV is a tremendous local resource and we are excited to utilize unconventional avenues like this to tell the Mad River Glen story’” says Friedman.
MRG Today will be broadcasting live to Mad River Glen's Facebook page and MRVTV's YouTube channel. It will also be re-broadcast to Channels 44 (SD) and 244 (HD) on Waitsfield Cable and be licensed for potential re-broadcast to the 24 other public access TV centers across the state of Vermont. The pilot episode can be viewed on the Mad River Valley TV YouTube Channel.

We are both community oriented organizations and we are excited to leverage the power of two live social media platforms to help Mad River Glen communicate stories and information in creative ways,” said Keith Berkelhamer, Executive Director of the station.
The first live episode is planned to stream on December 20th at approximately 10AM, with future episodes scheduled to air weekly, with some exceptions, on Thursdays at 10AM. The show is being sponsored by Mehuron's Market and Fat-ypus Skis.
