Lisa Loomis is the founder and president of Mad River Valley Television as well as the editor of The Valley Reporter. She is a native of Traverse City Michigan who lives high on a hill in Fayston.
Liz Levey – Board Vice Chair; Fayston, VT
Elizabeth Levey is a long-time resident of the Mad River Valley and committed to supporting community connectedness. In line with this goal, she has served on the MRVTV Board for 10 years, bringing her business, theater, and even event planning experience to the television station as needed.
Dan Eckstein – Board Member/Treasurer; Warren, VT
For nearly three decades, Dan Eckstein has devoted himself to improving people’s lives through the development of educational curricula and programming, the expansion and management of community-based and non-profit organizations, and — through his board memberships with MRVTV and Phantom Theater, as well as his participation as a programmer at WMRW-LP — by promoting access to information, music and art He lives in Warren.
Rob Williams – Board Member; Waitsfield, VT
Dr. Rob Williams is a Vermont-based media/communications professor and new media consultant who lives and works out of the Mad River Valley. In addition to teaching a wide range of communications classes at the University of Vermont, Champlain College, and Saint Michael’s College, he consults with a number of organizations, including PH International, the US Department of State, the Action Coalition for Media Education, and a number of entrepreneurial and nonprofit clients. John Daniell – Board Member; Waitsfield, VT
Arrived in the US as a permanent resident in 1967 and worked for Sikorsky Aircraft for 25 years before retiring in 1992. As an avocation ran a Classical Music Radio show with WMNR 88.1 in Connecticut for six years. Always interested in making home movies. Resides in Connecticut but spends six months of the year at his second home in Waitsfield. Lifelong pilot and spends time flying around the Valley in his sailplane. Joined Rotary International in the Valley in 1995, serving as Mad River Valley President from 1996-97. Served on the board of The I.I.Sikorsky Historical Archives and currently is an Honorary Trustee. Edited their newsletter for five years. Member, American Helicopter Society International.
Ilse Sigmund – Board Member; Moretown, VT
Ilse Sigmund is a long time resident of Moretown. She is a wife, mother, web developer. She enjoys skiing, reading and being with family & friends. She often finds herself involved with community-based initiatives – particularly those related to education.
Brian Shupe – Board Member; Waitsfield, VT
Brian Shupe has lived in the Mad River Valley for the past 30 years. He has a strong commitment to community service, having served on a variety of boards and committees in his home-town of Waitsfield. He is a co-founding member of the MRTV Board, and also serves on the Waitsfield Development Review Board, Friends of the Mad River Board and as Waitsfield Moderator. He lives along the Mad River with his wife Valerie Capels.
Ian Sweet – Board Member; Warren, VT
After a career in the Royal Air Force, as an engineering officer, Ian Sweet migrated into television broadcasting. He moved to the valley in 2004 and ran and then owned the RSN TV station at Sugarbush. Ian is still involved with worldwide television and he helps his wife Dori with the Mad Marathon. He also works on documentary projects locally to promote the Valley.
Ned Farquhar – BOARD MEMBER; Waitsfield, VT
A former director of the Vermont Natural Resources Council and the Mad River Path Association, Ned was New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson’s senior advisor for energy, and served five years as a senior official in the Obama Administration working on energy issues. He is also on the board of Friends of the Mad River.
Keith Berkelhamer – Executive Director; Warren, VT
Keith Berkelhamer spent 26 years working in the media world in New York City, primarily with CNN on the advertising side of the business. He made the move to Vermont a few years ago to escape the concrete jungle. When Keith is not working, he can be found hiking, biking or skiing with his wife, daughter and friends in the Green Mountains of Vermont. He also tends to his coral reef tank and can usually be spotted somewhere near his home in Warren during the summer wetting a fly fishing line in the backcounty.

Tony has been with MRVTV since 2007 and is currently the Media/Program Manager.
